I purchased these boots because they looked nice and they are waterproof. I hike alot on the weekends for fun and I really needed boots. Sneakers arent very good for hiking, just so you know. The moment I saw these boots on amazon I fell in love with the looks of this boot, so I went right ahead and purchased them.
Update 11-22-15
It snowed yesterday so I went on a walk with my new boots out in the yard just to see how well they work in the snow. The inside of the boot stays dry and warm when you walk around which is good but when I came inside it was really slippery. I noticed that when the floor is wet the bot loves to slip around like if its a skating rink, and it kind of sucks. Pretty disapointed that these boots arent slip resistant.
My first impressions are just that these are very lightweight and comfortable. My dad has several pairs of Wolverine boots and those are basicly like hunks of lead compared to these boots. Seriously these boots are very lightweight and weigh less than most sneakers. Im in love with these boots and I will continue to update this review.

The comfort is very good with port holes to keep your feet from sweltering…
My only criticism are the laces are a bit thin but that’s not a major concern at all…
Would definitely recommend..

UPDATE: After breaking in these boots for something like 600 hours of walking and working in them I’ve noticed a few things. If I keep the left boot tight it will cripple my foot, there’s something about the specific pressure point this boot hits that KILLS my foot. Feels fine while it’s not done up too tight. I can work 16 hours non stop walking and lifting without pain.
I thought the heel was going to be an issue at first because they’re stiff and would rub my foot, but once the boot is broken in and worn at the correct tightness this isn’t an issue.
I thought the water ports would be horrible for dust infiltration but I’ve worked landscaping stomping on grass and leaves in a trailer and my feet were cleaner than any other footwear I tried. It is a bit of a shock stepping into wet grass and getting some slosh into your boot though, I wasn’t used to that.
I’m going to stick with 4 stars
